Benefits Of Waking Up Early : 7 Tips

Many students I know are night owls. They love night-time study, especially post-midnight. Such students miss the core benefits of waking up early to study. I say this because I too was a night owl during my teen years and gradually became a morning person after learning about the benefits it can offer. So I am going to tell you about the benefits of waking up early which I personally experienced.

1) Fresh Mind

When you wake up early in the morning, your mind is completely fresh, it's like a brand new hard disk ready to store information in it. And when you study with a fresh mind early in the morning your mind grasps what you study much quicker than studying at any other time of the day. Waking up early also improves concentration.

2) Quiet Time

It's a miracle how quiet the world is during your early hours. Not only there are zero distractions that allow you to study peacefully, but also there are no external factors creating hindrance while you sit for studying.

3) Text/Calls

During the early hours when the world is fast asleep there is very little chance that someone might text you or call you to disturb you while you study. None of your friends would be awake so early in the day. If you want to study and benefit maximum from your studying there is nothing like early morning study.

4) Better Sleep Quality

When you know that you have to wake up early in the morning to study, you obviously will try and sleep early at night. Once you start practicing this daily it will become a routine for you, or I can say it will become your second nature. This routine translates into better sleep quality as your body's internal clock adapts to your new sleep routine.

5) Enhances Productivity

When you wake up early you are automatically ahead by 2-3 hours from the rest of the population. During this time period, while the whole world is in the depth of its night slumber, you can pretty much be rest assured that you are pretty much the only person awake and completing the necessary tasks. And since there is no disturbance during that time you can fully focus on the task at hand and also your focus level is at its peak during early morning hours, helping you complete your tasks faster and in a more efficient way. This practice indeed enhances your productivity.

6) Better Problem Solvers

When you complete the required hours of sleep for an adult, you are automatically energized, your body and mind are at peace and to solve any problem that life throws at you requires a calm and peaceful mind. Hence most successful people are better problem solvers.

7) Positive Outlook

Generally, people who wake up early in the morning have a positive outlook towards life. The reason being that people who wake up early in the morning have received 7-8 hours of sleep, suggested for an adult's night sleep. Since sleeping the full amount of time is required for a healthier mind, it makes sense that their morning positivity is directly related to their sleep
